Why is it necessary to inspect sewing machines before shipment?

Pre-shipment inspection for sewing machines helps find defects ahead of delivery. Sewing machines are precise electromechanical goods. Problems like loose parts, faulty wiring and uneven stitching cannot be easily seen from outside.
We test the machines before shipment to confirm stable operation and good sewing quality. It prevents breakdowns after goods arrive at overseas buyers, avoiding returns, repairs and claims. It can also prevent trade disputes and maintain business trust.
Inspection Standards
Sampling Rule
Adopt AQL standard: Critical 0, Major 2.5, Minor 4.0. Samples are selected based on total order quantity.
Inspection Items
1. Package check: No damage, damp or deformation on outer carton. Accessories are fixed inside carton. Marking information (model, quantity, batch number) matches purchase order.
2. Visual check: No dents, paint peeling, scratches or rust on machine body. No casting holes. All screws complete and tight.
3. Accessories verification: Machine head, table board, motor, foot pedal, power cord, threads, needles and manuals are complete and correct model.
4. Dimension check: Dimensions of machine and table board meet drawing requirements.
5. Power function test: No strange noise or overheat after power on. Motor starts and stops smoothly, foot pedal responds well.
6. Sewing performance test: Test sew fabric. Stitches should be even, no skipped stitches, broken threads or floating thread. Fabric feeding smooth, stitch length adjustable.
7. Safety check: Power cable insulation intact, reliable earthing, no electric leakage risk.
8. Marking: Nameplate printed clearly with correct model and parameters.
Result Judgement
If the number of defects exceeds the AQL limit, the whole batch is rejected.
