Why conduct inspections on jacks before shipment?
Pre-shipment inspection for jacks helps find product defects ahead of delivery. Jacks are lifting tools. Poor quality may lead to collapse during use, causing personal injury and property loss. We can separate faulty goods before shipment. It avoids customer complaints, returns and deductions after arrival, keeps smooth trade and protects business reputation.
Inspection Standards
1. Sampling: Random sampling shall be carried out in accordance with AQL. Critical defect: 0; Major defect: 2.5; Minor defect: 4.0.
2. Document check
Check packing list, product specification and test certificate. Confirm model, load rating and batch number are consistent with purchase order.
3. Visual inspection
Check the surface of jack body. No crack, deformation, rust or oil leakage. Paint or coating shall be even, without scratch, bubble or peeling. Check logo and warning label, clear and complete, no missing mark.
4. Dimension and marking check
Measure main size, height, lifting range. Rated load mark must be printed clearly on the jack.
5. Assembly inspection
Check all moving parts. Handle, screw, piston shall move smoothly, no stuck or loose parts. All screws and pins are fastened properly.
6. Functional test
Operate the jack for lifting and lowering test. It can lift up to rated load smoothly, hold load steadily without slipping. Lowering action shall be controllable, no sudden drop. Check oil seal for leak during test.
7. Safety accessory check
Check safety valve, safety pin and rubber pad. No missing or damage. Safety valve shall work when overload.
8. Packaging inspection
Check carton condition, no crush, tear or wet mark. Marking on outer carton: model, quantity, gross weight, warning sign. Inner packing shall protect jack from scratch during transport.
9. Result judgement
If defect exceeds AQL limit, the batch will be rejected. Record all findings with photos for inspection report.
