Why is radio inspection conducted before shipment?
It matters a lot for real‑world trade. Defects on circuit boards, speakers and internal parts may cause noisy output, weak signal or no sound at all. If these issues are only found after goods arrive at destination ports, returns and replacements will cost a great deal of money and delay the buyer's sales plan. We also spot cosmetic flaws such as scratches and bad fitting housings, which would bring lots of customer complaints in retail markets. What's more, labels and voltage marks must meet local import rules. Checking them ahead helps stop goods from being held up by customs. We also double‑check shipment quantity to prevent missing or wrong items.
Inspection Standards
1.Quantity & model verification
Cross‑check total cartons, units per carton, model and batch number against purchase order, no mixed‑model packing allowed.
2.Visual & workmanship check
Check housing for scratches, paint loss, deformation and burrs. Buttons and knobs should work smoothly without loose or tilted parts. Telescopic antenna must extend and retract freely. If equipped with screen, no crack or dark spot is acceptable. All printed marks shall be clear and match reference sample.
3.Full function test
Unit shall power‑up properly. FM, AM or SW bands should tune stations steadily without heavy noise or frequency jumping. Speaker sound output has no distortion; earphone jack works well. Both battery power and external power mode function normally. All buttons give correct response. Extra features such as alarm clock, bluetooth and sleep timer need real‑operation verification.
4.Accessories & documents
Antenna, power cord, user manual and warranty card should be complete. Manual language must fit destination market requirement.
5.Packaging and marking
Gift box and outer carton keep intact without damp or damage. Shipping marks, model info and barcodes should be printed correctly and scannable. Voltage mark, origin label and required certification labels must be present for customs clearance. Inner cushion material shall protect unit against impact during sea transport.
6.Visual safety check
Power cord shows no damage. No sharp edges on housing, no obvious electric‑hazard signs.
