Fabric Inspection (Pre-production Inspection)

Inspect the fabric for color shading, holes, pulled threads, skew, color fastness, weight, width, and stains.

In-process inspection (cut parts, sewing process patrol inspection)

Check cut-piece dimensions, overlocking, stitching, bubbling of fused interlining, and defects in cut pieces.

Garment Inspection (Finished Goods Inspection / Final Inspection)

Comprehensive inspection of finished products is also the most common type of garment inspection.

1. Dimensional Inspection

Measure garment length, chest/bust, shoulder width, sleeve length, trouser length, etc., and verify they fall within tolerance limits.

2. Appearance and Workmanship Inspection

Check for loose threads, skipped stitches, missed seams, puckering, color shading, stains, holes, skewing, button security, zipper smoothness, and detachment of prints or embroidery.

3. Physical Safety Tests

Drawstring/cord length (critical for children's clothing to prevent entanglement hazards), sharp accessories, and tensile strength tests for small components.

4. Laboratory Physical and Chemical Testing

Color fastness (washing, rubbing, perspiration), formaldehyde content, pH value, odor, fiber composition, pilling resistance, tear strength, etc.

● Eliminate non-compliant products to prevent substandard goods from entering the market. 

● Ensure wearer safety and minimize risks such as skin allergies and entanglement hazards. 

● Guarantee consistency in size and appearance across the same batch of garments.

● Meet customer requirements and regulatory spot-check standards to avoid product returns and penalties.
